SUR also joined hand with other non profi t organizations for uplift ofyoung kids from red light areas by educating them with the age old tradition of music. In the year2014 with the blessings of Padma Vibhushan Girija Devi ji SUR started the grand SUR Festivalfeaturing artistes of 4 generations on the same platform. SUR Festival got named as GIRIJA DEVISUR FESTIVAL while she was present but unfortunately with her sudden demise that had to bepostponed and done later.<\/p>
